about 2 weeks ago I put in an application for a long term sub position at Souther Lehigh MS, I was called in for an interview last week and I thought it went well
I had a phone call friday from the principal asking me to update two of my clearances and get a TB test ASAP. This was at about 4 on Friday so needless to say I was freaking out because it was then the weekend and how could I accomplish all of this....
thankfully things worked out...I did my one clearance online and printed the form for the other, i have to remember to get a money order for that one. The TB test was worrying me because he originally asked me to come in to get it done today...well I am sitting here in my prep period at school and obviously cannot get the shot today.
i called and he said tomorrow would be fine and to go to the HS and the nurse would administer it for me and then I can get it checked on Thursday so that way all the information could be sent to human resources before the board meets to talk about me
so looks like I'll have a new job beginning sometime in late february....well as long as the board of ed approves me |

So snow, OMG snow, really people do you need to close & have 2 hour delays wtf?
So I get up this morning and go about my business to go to school, I leave early to clean off my car from the little snow there is and take it slow on the roads and as I am pulling into the parking lot of my school (25 min away) B104 says that we have a 2hr delay, well fucktastic I'm already here at 7:45 am and I dont need to be here
I pull out the snow chain list to see who was supposed to call me and why they didnt, turns out I'M NOT ON THE LIST.....what the crap?
so i drove back to bethlehem where I am now sitting here pissed and i get to drive back to Whitehall in 45/50 minutes |

America can relax now, American Idol is over...until January
I am sitting at my own little desk in the Theater Office @ DeSales
Nates mom works here and got me a job doing random office things
I have already...
- wrote dates on the backs of pictures
- put the pictures into folder
- filed the folders into a cabinet of all shows DeSales has done...EVER
- I also put some cds into a fancy cd case
and the most exciting, put some 11 x 17 paper in the copier
I am allowed to wear whatever, come in and leave whenever, take as long as I want for lunch
i am on lunch now, I ran over to the University Center and I run into Double L Train....I think he was more surprised to see me then I to him
Unfortunately when I got back here to eat, my grilled cheese was made with not american and smelled icky, and my "cheese & peanut butter" crackers turned out to be cheese and cheddar cheese....my nice container of cantalope (sp?) is full of seeds, WTF?!....and finally I exploded my Dr. Pepper all over my desk

I've been thinking all day about the things I'm thankful for, partly because before i get to eat I have to tell everyone here what/who I am thankful for.
I'm thankful to all my friends out there, wherever you are or wherever I am I know we'll still be friends. I'm thankful for my family. I'm thankful this semester is almost over. I'm thankful to my best friends because without them I would have gone insane a long time ago. I'm thankful I'm almost finished with my time with Barbara Liebhaber ;). I'm thankful for stuffing, mashed potatos, turkey, and crescent rolls because they are yummy.
I'm thankful for Mike who through everything we've been through in the past 2.5 months has always made things interesting. I'm thankful for Steph. (period....i could say so much here, maybe even make her cry but theres time for that later ;))
I'm thankful for Ro and Megan and Angela whom I've gotten very close with this semester and will miss terribly when I graduate and become a real adult.
But I can't say that truthful yet boring crap at dinner. |

so here it is two hours before Steph and I's recital
i just want it to start
ive been trying to not think about everyhting thats been bothering me today and its been a little difficult
we couldnt get into Peter this morning to rehearse cause of some piano audition things for some PMTA crap, not too upsetting
then something is weird between Mike and myself and I dont know what or why
so i question if he was mad with me
he told me that he wasnt and that he was sorry for being so distant this past week
but that he thinks i need to be less attached and that he needs time to think....great, cause today is a good day to go over this
then the faculty lounge was locked when we got there to drop off the food, thankfully we could get into Main Hall and put it in that fridge
im going to shower and get ready now, go to the store for some Hawaiian Punch and toothpicks and off to South Campus |
